Teaching Method and Materials

Cameron strives for musical excellence via an uplifting, encouraging environment and a positive outlook. To him it is most important to support musical advancements by nurturing the student as an individual. He recognizes that all students are unique persons that require adaptability and creativity to ensure effective instruction. Furthermore, he believes teaching is not solely the outpouring of technical knowledge, but also the shaping and growth of the mind.

Cameron teaches a form of traditional method (learning the foundations of technique and note reading simultaneously) by utilizing the educational materials by Samuel Applebaum--amongst other complimentary books; this method is used particularly for beginning and intermediate students.
